Infinite Horizons Film Short
What an extraordinary idea! Our promotional video for TEDxHoboken 2013 turned into a beautifully executed film short. This idea was taken to an entire new level when dreamers Elizabeth Barry and Jeff Buccellato came together in the summer of 2012 to conceptualize the plan. They co-wrote a poem called Infinite Horizons that took inspirational ideas from TEDxHoboken team members who shared their thoughts about what Infinite Horizons meant to them.
The poem then began to take shape into a film short with the commencement of a shot list, the ideation of a cast of seekers, and the brilliance of team players such as Mike Foley and Bob Munster who helped filmmaker, Jeff Buccellato bring this project to life. Bob was involved with the filming the day of, and Mike was our after-effects genius. Peter Buccellato came in at the end to dedicate his sound editing to our collaboration. Jeff composed the music to top it all off… and what a score it has become!
What we want you to experience when you watch TEDx Hoboken’s film short INFINITE HORIZONS is the idea that people of all ages can be inspired by a dream or a goal, and when seekers converge, new ideas and dreams truly emerge. When you apply to come to TEDxHoboken in June, this could be you. You will be one of many who are looking to come together to learn about the infinity of what ‘can be’ in our lives… by listening to talks by riveting speakers.
We are truly a beautiful team at TEDxHoboken. Scott, Victor, Daniel, Erick, Edan, Erin, Rob, Elizabeth… This is a loving family that unites every month to deliver new TEDx events and mixers to Hoboken; and this film short is our way of expressing our excitement for what’s to come in June of 2013.
